I don’t think Faith Hill idolizes Carrie Underwood.  Watch Faith in the inset on the left when she hears who won (and who didn’t…)

Ouch.  Her publicist says that Faith was joking.  Too bad she stormed off camera without saying "jk!"  Being in the public eye, must less receiving awards makes it tough on the humility muscle.  So to Faith and Carrie, may I recommend a copy of my wife’s book, Mean Girls All Grown Up?  It identifies how to know if you’re a mean girl and how to deal with one in your life.

Risky Road Trip - Baby on Board

All my life, I’ve always loved road trips.  I would much rather drive somewhere if I can reach it the same day than fly.  And I don’t mind flying either. I just prefer the control–too many years of video games I think.

Of course, in over two decades of road tripping, I’ve never attempted more than a two hour jaunt with a one year-old.  That’s why Hayley and I felt like pretty big risk takers when we decided to drive from Nashville to Little Rock for a series of interviews with Family Life Today.  We first connected with Bob Lepine and Dennis Rainey back in July for radio interviews on All In and Hayley’s book Technical Virgin.  Family Life was gracious enough to invite us back to their studios for four more interviews that will be aired in the coming months.  While it’s an incredible honor to be interviewed on their highly rated radio broadcast, this story is about how a suddenly a sure thing turns risky.

I’m talking about road tripping with a baby on board.
